1 acre of land was donated June 2004 for the future site of our Rescue Squad building.

The Aynor Volunteer Rescue Squad has received matching grants from the Wal-Mart Foundation three years straight.  As part of Wal-Mart's commitment to community envolvement, Aynor Rescue was presented a check for $2000.00 three times as a matching grant for a benefit gospel singing where Wal-Mart employees helped sponsor and participate in the singing along with rescue squad members.  The singings were held at Conway High school auditorium.  Thanks again to all the area citizens, Wal-Mart management and employees, and Wal-Mart Foundation for making these fund raising events a success! The new ambulance was paid off in 2000!
