Our logo was first designed as a patch in late 1978.  The charter members of Aynor Rescue wanted an easily recognizable patch but also one that was original.  Former chief Frank Davis and past member Buck Johnson designed and drew a sketch of the patch.  Every member unamimously approved the drawing and design. The patch contains the "star of life" symbol along with the date in which the squad was originally chartered by the state of South Carolina.  The patch and logo have been used with pride since that time.
